This is one of the smallest baking soda and vinegar gun I've ever built. It's only 5 3/8 inches long and shoots 1/2 inch rubber stoppers. For fuel, it uses 2 teaspoons of vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda per shot. This gun is able to shoot rubber stoppers at speeds of more than 90 feet per second with as much as 1.33 foot pounds of impact force. That's more impact force than a Red Ryder BB gun! In one more recent test, the gun was able to launch an extra-tight fitting rubber stopper at 125 feet per second with a force of about 2.35 foot pounds! The gun is constructed from a 1/2 inch threaded PVC end cap, a 2 inch long section of threaded PVC pipe, a threaded 1/2 inch PVC ball valve, and a 1 1/2 inch long section of threaded PVC pipe.
